As usual Leanne writes another great book. She keeps the pace going and really gets you involved in the character’s lives. I’ve been following her for quite some time and she never fails to deliver a fast paced, easy to read book.
Devon and Claudia's story played on every emotion I have. It was heartbreaking as well as heartwarming. I cried, smiled, got angry, anxious, and ended satisfied. Leanne Davis is a favorite author because she writes well with great storylines and characters. She knows how to reach in and pull those heart strings. Another excellent book. It can be read as a standalone, but reading the prior books in the series adds depth to the read.*I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntary review.
I liked this book the best in the Sons series so far. Felt like the character development was done better with this book. I could relate to how the character feels like in the midst of family when that is the last place he wants to be but can't help it. Being mad at a family member because of their betrayal and also missing said family member like you miss a limb, at the same time is very beautifully written. I also love the grit Devon exhibits when he gives up every material thing he has and goes back to his roots just to prove his love for Claudia, among other things. That takes a lot of courage and I can't help but admire that kind of strength of character in a person, which made Devon even more likeable. Damion comes off looking really bad in this book but I can't wait to see how he redeems himself in the next one.
The perfect addition to the Son Series. Devon was in love but she betrayed him and chose his twin, Damion, to marry. He was absolutely wiped out by this. He shut everyone out even Claudia, his good friend. He hated everyone, even himself. It took a long time but Devon discovered what was best for him and he strived to real his goals. He did get his HEA but the road to happiness was hard to navigate. I hardily recommend DEVON by LEANNE DAVIS.
This was another great addition to the series! Devon and Claudia have been best friends since forever. Devon was betrayed by two of the people who mattered to him the most. Claudia stays loyal to him and is there for him. She is also in love with him. The story was emotional and really tugged at the heart strings. What a book! Can't wait for the next one!Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done â¤ï¸
